Henrik received an end of year pardon and was busted out of a south TX shelter on New Years Eve. Since then, he’s been settling into his foster home, making friends with his foster brother, and has claimed all the stuffies as his favorite things in the world (he’s rarely found without a stuffy in his mouth).<br/><br/>Henrik is ready for adoption!<br/><br/>Henrik is now ready to find his perfect match, especially with Valentines Day around the corner. Henrik loves love, affection, and to be right near his humans. <br/><br/>He is a happy 2 year old male newfie mix in Texas. We do not know his actual breed since he came via shelter, but he sure has a Newfie heart and love. He is on the small side at 66 pounds but makes up with in big personality! He does not hold still for the camera, this Happy boy has a happy tail that never stops wagging. <br/><br/>He is friendly, sweet and goofy in his own way. He loves his dog friends but not cats, small dogs or other small pets because he is not careful with his happy bouncy body. <br/><br/>He will jump in and out of the car on his own, but will try to sit on your lap while driving. <br/><br/>At night and when left home alone he stays in his crate, but doesn't enjoy it. <br/><br/>He loves to run, jump, play and even after all that he has more energy to spare. He really would love to have a dog friend that can keep up with him. He currently lives with another dog who is a little more mellow than Henrik and Henrick would so love to have a medium or large sized dog buddy to match his playful energy. <br/><br/><br/>Henrik is not tested on kids but he does love all humans!<br/><br/>* Pocket newfs are NOT a real thing. It’s just a cute way to describe a dog that is smaller than breed standard<br/><br/>Henrik is currently located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex of Texas.<br/><br/>If you are interested in any NNR pets, please apply directly with NNR. NNR adopts out to the lower 48 states but does not arrange transport. Adopters will have to travel to the foster dog.<br/><br/>NNR is not a first come first served adoption group.
