Hennie Toska Retriever & Cattle Dog Mix Thompson's Station, TN

Hennie Toska is an appx 2 year old female retriever/cattle dog mix who weighs around 30 lbs. Honestly who knows if that is actually what her mix is....she is likely all kinds of things and none of the above!!! We are making our guess based on her physical appearance and play style.
What we can tell you with absolute confirmation is that Hennie is a phenomenal girl. She is playful and energetic, but also loves a good day on the couch. She still has a puppy side to her that gets the zoomies and throws her toys in the air!! She adores other dogs and would love to have a companion who enjoys a good game of tag, chase, and some light wrestling. In her foster home she is living with dogs of all sizes, age, and play abilities and she will accommodate to anyone who wants to engage. She is great with all humans as well.
Things that are most important to Hennie are;
1. Outside time
2. Friends who like to play
3. Humans who snuggle

She is absolutely required to have a fenced in yard in her new home. She has not been around cats, but does not seem to have any prey drive as her current foster home has chickens and she is only interested in any tomatoes the chickens might be receiving. She is housebroken and crate trained.

Hennie is up to date on shots, spayed, and microchipped. She was rescued from a hoarding situation and delivered six puppies within days after her rescue. She had no hair due to demodex. Her skin has healed and she has a full coat of hair, but it is still a work in progress!! Her adoption fee is $250.

All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six-week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Ashley Reum.
