Meet Hennessey

Hi, my name is Hennessey! I am a Shepherd mix, born around 2/17/2021. I came up from Texas and weigh close to 10 pounds. After having a rough start to life, my future is bright! My siblings and I ended up in the shelter system at 5 weeks in age because we were being given away on Facebook. We should have been spending a few more weeks with mom but we weren't given that chance. Since then, we have battled parvo along with some internal parasites. We are all happy to say we are going full steam ahead on the road to recovery. We're doing great, gaining weight like crazy and are fun loving puppies. The parasites that we have been dealing with have left us with some soft stool so we are eating grain free adult food to help get our stomachs back in shape. The puppy food was a little too rich for us at this time. Obedience classes for adult dogs and puppies can be incredibly helpful for both animals and humans. It helps you understand what makes me tick and will give me a better idea of what you want me to do. It’s a win/win and it will also strengthen the bond between us! Apply for me today!

My adoption fee is $350.00. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.

CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP. Our license is #268235-DS
