Meet Henley
Meet Henley
Henley is an adorable, currently 7 month old, (born in December, 2023) Labradoodle/Pointer Mix. He came to STAF very scared and confused, but now he seems to have settled in and is able to enjoy what the STAF volunteers and his fellow dogs have to offer!
He has made doggie friends and has a blast romping in the yard with them. He also can entertain himself with a ball, chasing it and rolling around on his back with it in his mouth.
Henley loves all people he meets and we think he could make an awesome family dog with his gentle and playful spirit.
Henley is a striking looking pup, with long legs and gorgeous black and white markings. His coat is very soft and wavy, making him look like he just got a perm.

“I’m at the vet with Henley. Oh my gosh, he’s a dream! He was very patient while I fumbled around putting his wonky harness on. Walked here reasonably, curious of bicycles, pedestrians, trucks, but not startled. Sits, shakes paws, and down on command. Fine with strangers after initial greeting. Spent half the time in my lap
Henley is such an all around great young dog and will be a great addition to a home ready for lots of energetic puppy love.

• All of our animals are spayed/neutered and current on shots.
• We do not do same-day adoptions. You will be asked to return for at least one follow-up visit, then take the dog home for a trial period before officially adopting.
• You must be 21 years or older to adopt from STAF.
• We require a 4-foot-tall physical fence for homes with children under the age of 11. We also may require a physical fence for specific dogs on a case-by-case basis, depending on each dog’s behavior and exercise needs.
• Due in part to increasing coyote activity/incidents in the area and the difficulty of predicting how a dog will respond to invisible fence training, we can not adopt to homes with invisible fences.
• We do request vet and personal references.
• We can facilitate adoptions within a 30-mile radius of our Cincinnati-based shelter.
