Henley is a sweet boy. He loves rubs and cuddles but it takes him a bit to warm up to people. He is learning how to trust. He is skittish around people and other dogs until he knows he is safe. He is good with older kids and other dogs. He is kennel and leash trained. We are working on not marking anymore but he has made improvements, he used a belly band for support and is adjusting well. He can sleep in his kennel but he also loves to snuggle up next to his humans to sleep if you allow him. Henley only barks when needed but stops on command. He loves playing outside and we are still working on playing with toys. He lets you know when he needs to go outside by standing by the door. Henley will be a great addition to a loving, patient family to show him that he is loved.


Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with the foster to set up a meet and greet. We are a foster based RESCUE, not a shelter. All of our dogs are in individual foster homes. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs.
For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

CAMO rescue is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing small dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill TX shelters.
