Meet Hendricks
Hendricks is a very sweet boy who likes to cuddle after a long day at play. He loves to play with toys, chase his sister-dog and fetch. He would fetch all day if he could. Hendricks is a very active pup who needs a lot of attention to keep him busy, give him a job! He can learn anything - has all the basic commands down and ready to learn more. He can walk on a leash, house/potty trained and crate trained. Rides well in the car, watch for digging while in the backyard. He will protect the house if on looking dogs come to potty on your lawn, however we are working on re-directing this behavior. Hendricks needs an active home that can keep up with his active lifestyle. Experienced handler is a must. He is a little reactive to cars and other dogs he hasn't yet socialized with.
Adoption fees:
Adult: 1-6yr $400.00
Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHPP, DHLPP and Rabies. We deworm each dog and chip. Lastly, we spay or neuter each of our dogs.
Our adoption process includes an initial conversation about the dog to see if the dog is a good match or if another dog could be a more suitable match. We also will complete a home visit. It should be noted that our adoption counselors know the dogs and can best guide any possible adopter with a suitable match.
Please visit https://www.calpaws.org/available-dogs for the adoption application!
We are always in need of experienced fosters for the amount of dogs we have coming in. Being a foster is such a rewarding experience. If you are interested please review https://www.calpaws.org/fostering
