Meet HELGA

HELGA is a senior female german shepherd. She spent many months at the shelter where she was a very good guest with her age as the only thing preventing potential adopters from looking at her. She was so sorely in need of a bath and grooming, Adopt Me! decided to pull her. Her general health is good! And we think she's a "young" senior. We have her on arthritis medicine and her mobility is just fine. She's also received a proper grooming. Unfortunately the only way to manage her otherwise beautiful coat was to shave her down - but not a bad thing for summer weather. We feel she'll do best as an only dog with an owner who can commit themselves to maintaining her quality of life. She's got plenty of it left! And her favorite thing in the world? PEOPLE!
