***SPECIAL NEEDS*****
Meet miss Helen - this sweet quiet girl is seeking the absolute perfect fit for her lifestyle. You see - Helen is 100% deaf and partially blind. This requires her adopters to be fully adaptable to her needs while also being understanding of her breed - as her full aussie shines through. While we know she is mixed with a poodle the coat is all that shows. She enjoys being with her humans, spending quiet time together, going for walks, getting exercise, and ensuring she has had plenty of boundary setting at home - without this she can become a bit bossy. Miss Helen has be going through a full rehab/training program with Project Paws since her surrender which was due to some unfortunate unwanted behavior and misunderstanding of her needs. Since her arrival, we have worked through almost all of these.
Her ideal home would consist of no kiddos (while she does like kids due to her special needs it is best she does not live with them) and a calm balanced dog or no other dogs. Helen prefers a calm lifestyle that is able to accommodate continuing her training program with PAWS. Experience with deaf and special needs pups is a HUGE bonus!
