Heidi-Dawgs-in Mass. Boxer & Hound Mix Willington, CT

Heidi is a gorgeous, 2 yr. old boxer mix with a great temperament. She is very friendly, playful, outgoing and love kids! Heidi also enjoys sunbathing in the backyard and romping in the snow.
Heidi completed the DAWGS in Prison program, http://www.dawgsinprison.com and was adopted by a family in Pittsfield, Mass. They can no longer keep her and we are looking for a great new home for her, where she can be the only dog. She currently lives with children, who can crawl all over her and she is great with them.

The dogs selected for the DAWGS program go through an intense 8-week training session and live with their trainers, handlers and caretakers in a dormitory style work camp. All of these dogs have had an extensive temperament test and get along well with other dogs and people.
The dogs are all crate trained, house trained, and basic obedience trained. They can be expected to sit, stay, recall, down, heel, and respond to no and leave it. The dogs are also well trained on a leash
.
Heidi is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and spayed/neutered.
Her ideal home will have a fenced yard and on owner who can exercise her daily.
