Meet Heidi
Heidi was rescued, as a tired Mother, along with a litter of her puppies. Naturally they were all adopted into wonderful homes just as soon as they were old enough to leave her. But finding the perfect family for Heidi has been a lot more challenging.
Given her past, its not hard to imagine that Heidi was petrified of humans when she was rescued. Thanks to her incredibly patient foster family, she has slowly opened up over the last year and is finally learning to trust that not all humans are mean and has infact come to love her temporary family!
Heidi is definitely an inside dog, however she does still largely prefer to spend the majority of her time outside, if she is able so a fenced in yard will be a necessary requirement of her adopter, as well as a patient, calm and understanding demeanor,
She desperately needs to find that one person who can complete the final phases in healing her broken spirit and capture her guarded heart!
