Meet Heidi
Heidi is a 5 year old, medium-sized Border Collie/Australian Shepherd cross who came to Cody’s as an owner surrender. She is whip smart, affectionate, and very playful - you’d never guess she wasn’t a puppy! She lived in an outdoor pen her entire life from a small puppy to now. We are so happy she has her freedom now! She is 38 lbs so a perfect size.
Focused, driven and eager to please her people, Heidi loves to play and is very toy oriented. She also enjoys a dip in the pool or lake and gets very excited for walks and car rides. She is crate trained/potty trained in her foster home and very good about going to her leash when she needs to go outside. No felines for this lady, but she loves to play with other dogs.
Heidi would excel in an active home with older children or with someone who had an interest in an intelligent friend for training and agility sports. It would be even better if she had a playful canine companion.
