Heewon’s a male Jindo mix that’s 6 months old and weighs about 25 pounds. Heewon and his brother (Maple) were rescued from a dog meat farm in Asan, Korea. Now they’re with us in NYC for adoption! Heewon’s best described as sweet, friendly, energetic, and playful! He likes playing fetch, learning new things, and going on long walks. He already knows commands like “sit” and “crate.” Heewon is also potty trained and crate trained too! Heewon can’t wait to learn even more and go on adventures with his lucky adopter. (Note: He and Maple will grow to be 50+ pounds as adults.) Apply to adopt Heewon!

Our adoption radius is now within 30 miles of the following locations: NYC, Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, DC and Baltimore, MD. You must be able to pick up the dog at our office in Astoria, Queens (no exceptions). You must wear a mask and practice safe social distancing when traveling and picking up the dog.
