Meet Heath Puppy (Holly's Puppy)

Heath already has a "Pending Adoption" and we are not taking applications for him at this time.
Meet Heath Puppy!! Heath's mama, Holly (pictured), found herself being taken into a high kill shelter in April of this year. Holly was instantly a hit with all! Holly was a real super star and quickly earned high marks in all categories. Just to name a few: Great with all dogs- male and female. Great match for kids. Personality plus! Excellent on a leash. Skilled nuzzler and kisser. Holly is very soft in her ways and has plenty of love and affection for all. But, Holly had a little secret that was soon to be revealed. On the day after Mother's Day, Holly gave birth to EIGHT beautiful puppies. One male puppy did not survive but FIVE males did. Heath is one of those males. We can only hope that he inherits his mama's fantastic personality. The puppies are now three months old and, at his last "weigh-in", Heath Puppy was 14.6 lbs. Heath is the smallest male in the litter at this time. We expect them to be medium-to-large size dogs when fully grown.
Heath, and his brothers, are already neutered. They are listed as Shepherd/Lab mixes but their true DNA can only be determined with a test. They are up-to-date with vaccinations and all of Holly's puppies are micro-chipped. They are currently spending time in a foster home in SC while they await transport to PA. Holly's boys will be available for adoption on Aug. 14th and we are in the process of taking applications for them now. They will be arriving on transport on that day in the early part of the afternoon and the puppies will all need a place to go to when they get here. (The two females in the litter will be arriving on Aug. 28th and Holly will come at a later date after all of her vetting is taken care of.)
Heath Puppy's suggested adoption donation is $350 to help with the rescue's ongoing vet bills. If you would like to adopt one of these sweeties, please submit the adoption application through our website OneLifeToLiveRescue.com. After your application is reviewed and approved, a volunteer will contact you to answer any questions you may have and to discuss our very popular foster-to-adopt program with you. Thank you for considering a wonderful, rescued Mixed-Breed puppy!! Heath Puppy was "officially" adopted by his Foster-to-Adopt mom and dad. His new name is "Kai" and he will be spending the "happily-ever-after" part of his life in Nicholson, PA along with his TWO doggie sisters who are both OLTL alumni. Savannah, formerly known as Simone Puppy, was adopted on 6-29-13 and Shawnee, formerly known as Persia Puppy, was adopted on 6-25-15.
