Meet Hearth-PENDING :)

Hearth is about as sweet as they come. Born on 4/6/17, she is a petite lab mix at only 38 pounds. Hearth and her 3 babies were welcomed into HHP after they were found living under a trailer home down in Oklahoma. Now that her mother duties are complete, Hearth would love to find a forever family of her own.  Hearth LOVES her people. When cuddling on the couch or floor she cannot get close enough to her person. Often times she will flop over in your lap just to show you how much she really loves you. Hearth is extremely submissive (but will not pee!) with humans of all ages. When meeting new dogs and cats she does need some time to warm up. At first, she may growl or guard her person but after awhile she will learn there is nothing to be scared of. Hearth is being fostered with multiple other dogs and cats and is great with them by even sharing toys and napping together. She has a moderate high energy level who would make a great running partner or even agility dog with the right training. Hearth can clear/jump any 4-foot fence so a 6-foot fence is required in her forever home. She is housebroken and kennel trained yet she is not a fan of her kennel. She will whine if she knows you are in the house and she cannot be next to you. Hearth is an absolute joy who would make an amazing companion for a family who is into everything from going on car rides, playing in the yard or curling up on the couch together. Hearth deserves the very best. Won’t you find it in your heart to meet this girl and give her the life she has always dreamed about?

Please visit for an adoption application

All of our dogs are current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, fecal tested, heartworm tested, and they are all on heartworm and flea/tick preventative.

The adoption process is an application, a vet reference, a home visit, and a lifetime contract. The requested adoption donation for this dog is $275___.

We do not REQUIRE a fenced in yard (some dogs DO REQUIRE a fence. Decide what is best for each dog), we do REQUIRE a means of safe outside containment. We do NOT adopt to homes that use invisible fencing. Invisible fencing is NOT a safe means of outside containment.

We are willing to adopt out-of-state, contingent on our ability to complete a home visit, but you must travel to Omaha to complete the adoption. We do not transport or ship our dogs.
