Hazel's Story
Beautiful - shy - unassuming...I'm sweet Hazel (33 pounds). I'm young and lacking confidence, so gaining your trust and finding my inner strength will be when my personality truly starts to blossom.

I lived in an apartment with my owner. We had a good life together and he said I was a "very good companion". Sadly, he had to move and could not take me.

My owner only had good things to say about me. I was shy/timid the first 2 hours he brought me home. He was a good guy and didn’t push me and it didn’t take long for us to bond. Hot dogs and some toys sure did help!

I’m fully house and crate trained which is super good news. Then he started letting me free roam when he was gone and I did fantastic which is wonderful news – right!! He took me to the apartment dog park, and I played well with the other dogs.

I learned love and devotion from him, and I was so sad when he had to leave me at the shelter. I have made not only dog friends but human friends with staff/volunteers. All rave about my personality once I trust.

Ask the staff for some hotdog pieces when we meet and don’t be concerned if I don’t come running to you all happy and excited. I want a FOREVER HOME – forever and ever. I AM happy/excited you may pick me. Just be patient with me and as my past owner said I will be a very good companion.

All my love and please come meet me.

Hazel
