Meet Hazel, a spunky, people loving Frenchton (French Bulldog/Boston Terrier mix). Hazel is blind in one eye due to injury at a very young age but that does not stop her from seeing to tiniest of leaves blowing in the wind. Hazel loves chasing blowing leaves, and playing fetch with sticks or balls. No fence required but would be preferred so she can run and chase things freely. She walks on a leash but does pull, is crate trained , comes when called and is doing well with housetraining if let out regularly. Hazel loves attention and is like a bunny on springs to make her needs known. Hazel does love to play with other dogs but does resource guard. She can be possessive and guards anything she thinks is hers- food, toys, her space (if in crate) and even her person. She has not shown any aggression while at her foster home just warnings of pushing other dogs away or if in her crate she will bark at other dogs. She was returned from by her previous adopter for some sibling rivalry. For this reason, she would do best as an only dog so to eliminate the need or anxiety of competing for attention or protecting her things. With people, she is a lovebug.
