HAZEL Beagle Harrisburg, PA

This little lady has a special place in my heart! She’s a sweetheart for sure…she loves people (adults as well as kids) and she has a happy, sweet and good natured personality. Being a Beagle, she certainly enjoys snooping around the yard in hopes of finding a rabbit to run. Her owner passed away and another man took her, hoping she would hunt, but she wouldn’t. You see, sweet Hazel is a pet, not a hunter, so we took her in as well as her one little puppy that has already adopted. She was a great Mom, but she has fulfilled her motherly duties and now it’s her turn for a new life. Unfortunately Hazel had heartworms, so she has just completed her heartworm treatment and has been given a clean bill of health. Now she would like nothing more than to begin her “new life” with a great new family that will give her the life that she deserves. She is 6 years old and she weighs 25 pounds. She has been spayed, 4DX heartworm tested & treated, microchipped, dental, fecal tested, current on all vaccinations, wormed and is on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $300.

Hazel is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and her fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to residents of those states.
