Hazel American Bully & American Staffordshire Terrier Mix New York, NY

Hazel is a 2-year-old, spayed female American Bully / American Staffordshire Terrier mixed breed dog who is looking for her forever home through AmsterDog Rescue. Hazel is approximately 60 pounds, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. She is fully house trained, potty trained, crate trained, and knows her basic commands such as sit, down, and stay.

Hazel is a young pup with high energy who would love to find an adopter who lives an active lifestyle and is looking for a dog who can keep up with them. If that’s you, Hazel would be the perfect running or hiking partner! Hazel is a very sweet, friendly pup who loves making friends everywhere she goes. While out on walks in NYC or off leash hiking in upstate New York, Hazel loves saying hi to new people and befriending with every dog she meets!

Hazel is people, kid, and dog friendly so she would be a great fit for most homes looking to adopt a large dog. An ideal home for Hazel would be outside of a hectic city like NYC with a backyard and outdoor activities nearby to keep her busy. Hazel is currently the only pet in her foster home but loves meeting and playing with other dogs. Hazel would likely thrive in a home with another friendly dog that she can play with. Hazel also does very well on her own as she prefers to spend most of her indoor free time snuggling up on the couch with her human or entertaining herself with her favorite chew bone.

Hazel is the happiest when surrounded by people so she’s the perfect dog for an active family but would thrive in most households.
She is currently located in New York City but would love to find her adopted forever home who has a yard for her to play in located outside of a hectic city environment. Hazel would do fine continuing to live in a city so long as her adopter is committed to providing the daily exercise this young girl needs.

Transportation will be provided to her forever adopted home regardless of distance, so long as the adopter can provide Hazel a loving home that fits the above criteria.
