Meet Hazel
Hazel was found as a stray by one of our volunteers and is believed to be about 7 months old. She was extremely skinny and skittish at first, and now her foster mom describes her as, “a little ball of energy!” Hazel loves to chew on bones and play 24/7, especially with the other dogs in her foster home, so she will need an active forever home.
Hazel is almost fully potty trained, but still needs some work. Like most puppies, she still has to go out a lot - sometimes in the middle of the night. She will go in her crate but needs a human who will teach her that crates aren’t a bad thing!
We’re not sure how she is with kids or cats, but because Hazel has so much puppy energy, we’d recommend a home with kids 10+.
A note from her foster mom: “She has brought us so much love and joy. I hope we can find the perfect home for her. She’s the best!”
