Meet Haze
You know how some people want a perfectly trained rescue dog? Well, Haze IS that DOG. She loves just hanging outside. She lays down and chews on sticks or runs the fence line with the neighbor dogs. She likes it so much that we have a hard time getting her back inside from the puppy party. She is completely crate trained. She kennels herself at night, and goes in whenever she wants a nap. She is a lazy lady inside, as long as she gets to hang outside whenever she wants (which is always lol). She has a beautiful thick coat to keep her warm during her long trips outside. She’s calm and sweet.
She is our "Mary Poppins" dog (practically perfect in every way). She really is THAT perfect! Haze doesn’t chew on anything, potty and crate trained. Gentle enough to be around a newborn baby and playful enough to run with a pack of dogs. Does not guard food or toys, nor display any kind of aggression. She is completely submissive with other dogs, she gets along well with her foster dog friends, and loves the Great Pyrenees polar bear next door, and also their little Shih Tzu.
Other than needing a fenced in yard (so she can safely hang outside as long as her heart desires) She would be good in just about any situation. Somewhat lazy for a 1 .5 year old dog, but can rise to the challenge to play. She would be a chameleon and blend in with whatever type of family adopts her: whether it’s an older retired couple, or a family with 5 active little kids. Haze has been nicknamed “Nana Clara” after the gentle, but protective watchdog in Peter Pan.
