Meet Hawksley Scarrow!! He is two years old and weighs about 9 lbs. Hawksley loves loves loves his toys!!! He will play fetch all day long if you have it in you!! He also loves to learn...or maybe he just loves snacks.....but he will basically learn anything if you try....with a snack. Toys and treats are his weakness but that makes him a great candidate for all kinds of training!! And he is so athletic!!! Lots of jump in those legs!! He will do best with active owners that will continue his training and provide lots of exercise and outdoor ball time. A fenced in yard would be a plus for his obsession to play fetch. Hawksley is a people dog but would prefer a home with one adult only. He tends to attach himself to one single individual and not be very accepting of others that intrude on that relationship. Though he can totally tolerate other dogs, he does not want or need their companionship, his human is his thing and he would thrive as an only dog.

Hawksley is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $250 plus any additional donation you feel appropriate. Our adoption fee is set to a level to make adoptions happen. They do not cover our costs. Thank you for your generosity and interest in our dogs!

All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six-week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Ashley Reum.
