Hawk is a good-natured, fun-loving, free-spirited little guy…black all over and about five years old…in the prime of his years, who never met a stranger…he loves people, dogs, cats, kids, whatever.

He’s happy on a nice walk, sitting by you on the sofa for a cuddle, or playing with his favorite toy. And, he knows several commands, sit, leave it, come and he loves to ride in the car (but don’t let him drive, no matter how much he begs!)

Living with older kids would be ideal; younger kids would have to keep their toys in a safe to protect them from Hawk, because he loves to play with anything he perceives to be a toy. He’s happy around other dogs and also happy to play alone with his toys…not too happy to share those toys, but he won’t make a fuss, either.

You’d have to search long and hard to find a dog with such a good disposition, who obeys when you tell him ‘no,’ and is so loving (ok, not that long or hard, because CSR has many wonderful dogs!). Hawk does well with a doggy door if his people are away during the day.
