Hattie is in Maine's Story
Hattie (fka Brandy) is about 6 years old and was recently returned due to a shift in living situation within her family. Hattie is a hound mix of some sort and is a cute size at about 45lbs. She is okay with most dogs (those who aren't up in her face) with proper introductions, has lived with cats (though the cats may have something to say about that!) and has been good with kids. With that said, at 6 years old and having been through some stress in her life recently, Hattie would love to soak up all the affection without any interruption. She will be great as an only pet.

Hattie's foster absolutely adores her! He says that she is she is a very sweet and happy girl who loves to play, but equally loves to relax. She is a wonderful companion to have and to cuddle with. She can be shy around new people but will look to her human, and take comfort in their presence. Hattie is great on leash and loves exploring. She is house and crate trained (though crating is not necessary) and does well alone in the house for a full workday.

What more could you want?!

................................................................................................................
Adoption fees cover age specific vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/lyme/ehrlichia test, worming and transport fees.

Adoption fees:
Through 6 months of age $450;
7 months to through 5 years $400;
6 years and under 9 years $325: bonded pairs are $500;
9 years and older $250: bonded pairs are $300

Almost Home Rescue of New England is a 501 c 3 non-profit rescue; rescuing dogs since 2005.
