Meet Hattie

Hi, my name is Hattie! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Intelligent, loyal, affectionate, playful, enthusiastic
-Can Live with Kids: Yes! Based on our observations, we feel Hattie would be okay with respectful kids of any age, pending an introduction at the shelter.
-Can Live with Cats: No- very high likelihood of prey drive.
-Can Live with Dogs: Yes, after a successful introduction at the shelter.
-Can do Apartment Living: No, this smart, active dog is not well suited for small spaces without access to a yard.
-Potty-Trained: Yes
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: No
-Energy Level: High!!
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: No
-Additional Information: Calling all GSP people! Hattie is every inch a Pointer and her age hasn't slowed her down one bit. This 8-year-old dog still has plenty of adventuring left to do and is looking for an adopter who can keep up with her. Her ideal match is already active (hiking, biking, jogging, dog sports, etc) and not just hoping a dog will inspire them to become so. Preference given to adopters who can demonstrate breed (or at least scent hound) knowledge and experience.
