Harrison German Shepherd Dog & Husky Mix Kennewick, WA

Meet Harrison! He was born December 12, 2017 and is a German Shepherd Husky mix. When Harrison came to us he had been in a home where he was outside all the time and his collar had embedded in his neck. With the expert care from Vista Vet he's completely healed!

He is potty trained, crate trained and does well on a leash. Harrison loves to play outside with people (big and small), dogs, ball and sticks. He loves food! His less favorite things are being picked up and he used to be weary of the car but has now come to love car rides. Harrison is likely full grown at 70 lbs. He is a gentle giant and is so gentle when he plays with his 9 week old foster brother. Harrison will capture your heart from the get go - one look into his eyes and you fall in love with him! He loves to be loved. He likes for his ear and his neck to be scratched. Harrison was an outside dog before coming to Mikey's Chance and he is doing well adjusting to indoor life. He feels comfortable in his crate. He sleeps there during the night and during the day when he starts pacing, I know he wants to take a nap and I'll put him in his crate for a nap. Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this dog will come to you from a foster home that has provided loving one-on-one attention, socialization and some basic training, as well as quality food and exercise.

Please note that adopters are not chosen on a first come, first served basis, but full consideration is given to the best fit for the dog AND the adopter.
