Required: Must live in Rochester NY area and have a physically fenced in yard for her to safely run and play in.

Harley Mae is a 4 month old beagle mix (our best guess) and is expected to be around 40 lbs as an adult. She is very curious about new sounds or smells and loves to play with her toys. She is working on basic commands but will need someone who has patience with her training. She is potty trained to go on puppy pads and is starting to alert for the door when she has to go outside. She loves playing with her foster brothers and sister and watching the fish swim in the fish tank. In her outside playtime she can be found sniffing the perimeter for intruders, working on her beagle howl by telling the squirrels to get off her grass and stalking her foster siblings. She will need more leash training. She is just a happy puppy who loves to play. While no one is home she is goes into a crate with limited complaint.

Harley will be going to the adoptive home under a foster to adopt contract until altering/vet care is complete. You would be required to get dog to our clinic in Rochester morning of alter (date not yet determined) . Adoption will then be finalized after Vet care is complete and you pick up from rescue around 3 pm same day. For this reason, we will not adopt to anyone outside our adoption area. We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally, if fencing is required it must be a physical fence and in place at time of home visit.

All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption.
