Harley's Story
Meet Harley!

Harley is 9yrs old (July) and 55lbs. She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, crate trained & house trained. Harley is heartworm positive, but is on slow kill treatment and has already had one round of doxy. Harley is searching for her retirement home. She was picked up by animal control after being found abandoned. When she came to APAWS, she was having some joint pain and after doing x-rays, our vet thinks that she was hit by a car at some point in her life. We found pellets on her x-rays that showed she’s also been shot before. All that to say- Harley has had a rough life. Her foster parents have been absolutely amazing and she has come a long way. It’s time for her to find her furever. Actually, it’s long overdue. Harley is good with other calm dogs and ignores cats. She loves to get as close to you as she can. She enjoys playing with toys, chilling on the couch or her dog bed. She deserves to be loved and spoiled and shes waited a long time and fought through so much for the chance to have that. We really hope someone can give her that chance. Harley’s adoption fee has been significantly reduced in hopes that it will help her find her furever. Video of Harley will be in the comments. Please consider opening your heart & home to Harley.
