Meet Harley

Meet Harley! Harley is a four year old, 41 pound, mixed breed pup. We do not know much about her past, so we don't know much about her breed, or possible breed, but we do know that this short stack is absolutely adorable!

Harley is a ball of fun! She is currently fostered with dogs, cats and kids. Harley loves her foster dog siblings, but she likes to play a LOT, so she would probably do best in a home with another like minded playmate. She can be a bit much for the resident senior in the home, but she listens well when the senior tells Harley that she's had enough! Harley is fantastic with her human foster siblings and would love a few kids of her own, but her human siblings must be ok with a jump or two as Harley continues to learn the importance of four on the floor. Harley is not a fan of her cat foster siblings and would do best in a home without any feline friends.

Harley is potty trained and crate trained, only having one bathroom accident while in her foster home. While she doesn't love the act of going into the crate, once she's in, she is totally content to munch on a Kong or take a snooze until it's time to get out again. She loves to play in the fenced in yard at her foster home and hopes that her forever home has some room for zoomies!

Harley is the sweetest little compact companion you could ever hope to find! If this girl seems like a good fit for your home, apply today! Her adoption fee is $250.

To adopt this pet, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt

All of our dogs come spayed or neutered, fully up to date on vaccinations, including rabies (if age appropriate) and bordetella, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the dog you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where dogs can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting a dog in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Thanks so much for caring about a needy animal!
