Happy Black Mouth Cur & Shepherd Mix Bethel, CT

Meet Happy, a handsome three-year-old, 65 lb. black mouth cur/shepherd mix who earned his name due to his infectious smile and bubbly personality. Sadly, this sweet pup's owner just passed away so he's now in need of a new home that will be filled with lots of activity and an abundance of love.

Happy is as cute and fun as they come! He is always up for an adventure and loves playing with his toys, running around the yard, rolling in the grass, and will play fetch for hours on end. He is an energetic guy and would be an excellent walking or hiking companion. Happy is friendly with everyone he meets, including other dogs and children of all ages. We recommend older kiddos due to his large size. He will chase cats so we recommend a home without them.

He is a very good boy - Happy is super smart and is housetrained, walks well on leash, and knows some basic commands. He was previously trained on an electric fence so a fenced yard (either electric or physical) is a must for his adoption. He will make a perfect addition to any home!
