My name is Hannah and I am a 9 year old Chihuahua Mix. I came into MaxFund shy and trembling. I yelped when anyone touched me. A nice lady took me into her home to foster and I blossomed! They didn't know the real me in the shelter because there were loud puppies and lots of fast action going on around me. I mostly burrowed in my blankets in my bed.
In a home, I felt so happy and free, so comfortable and after just 2 days, I never yelped again when being picked up. I trust slowly, but completely. Now I feel so good, I go to my human for petting and cuddling, and sometimes, for assurance that all is well. I love my walk-n-sniffs. I've been getting 2 walks a day, for 25 min, but I would be even happier with one walk, and maybe a short sniff later in the day just to stretch my long, supermodel legs and do my dog thing. Sometimes during my second walk, my foster mom puts me in my sling on her chest and I settle right in. I am looking for a calm household with no children under about 12.
