Hannah Jack Russell Terrier & Basset Hound Mix Conshohocken, PA

Hannah is quite the sweetie. This 6 or 7 year old female had a tough start. For her first 6 years (or so) she was a breeder dog for a puppy mill in Lancaster County. When she no longer was breeding full and viable litters she was one of the lucky dogs we were able to pull into our rescue.
Hannah is much enjoying her retirement in her foster home near Philadelphia. She is not terribly active but she loves walks . She likes to watch TV on the sofa and just be with her people.
She likes to play with the other dogs in the house and she is appropriate when meeting and interacting with other dogs. With cats she will chase but she doesn't seem to be aggressive about it.
Hannah gets nervous in crowds of people and can be leery of some people but overall she is friendly with most adults. She does have a habit of trying to intimidate some people but she is easily swayed by food. Her toe nails can be cut and her teeth safely checked. The only thing Hannah doesn't like is children. which could be lack of exposure but more probably past history when she was a breeding dog.
As Hannah's foster , I can assure you she will be a dear companion for someone just looking for a buddy in a quiet home
. She's healthy and doesn't need alot of attention. She is content just to be loved
