Meet Hanna
Hanna is around a year old and around 9 pounds. She was a stray in Mexico through one of our rescue partners.
She is shy at first but warms up nicely and really gravitated toward being with people as much as she can. She does well with other small dogs her size. She hasn't been around cats that we know of. She is a sensitive girl who is observing and taking in the world around her. She would like a more laid back, quieter environment where she can blossom.
Best with kids ages 9 and up who are used to being around dogs.
Hanna is working on crate training and house training - she is difficult to potty on leash, especially in winter, so a fenced in yard or use of supplemental puppy pads may be desired. Hanna will need a home without shared walls.
Please note Hanna has shown signs of potential hearing loss.
Adoption fee is $600.00 + tax (no checks)

We rotate around the cities with adoption events each Saturday 11-2pm between Burnsville, Cottage Grove, and Forest Lake. Please inquire if she will be attending.
Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.
Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
