*PENDING* Hank the Tank English Coonhound & Bluetick Coonhound Mix Hammond, IN

HANK THE TANK...HANK THE TANK...yep, that is my name, Don't wear it out! I am a 5 year old English coonhound/bluetick coonhound mix. I got my name because I am one beefy boy. I am not that tall but definitely stocky. I weigh around 100lbs, so my foster mom is working hard to help me get some weight off by giving me a healthy diet and exercise. It was discovered I have hypothyroidism, so I am on a low dosage of thyro-tabs. However, the vets think the meds may not be necessary if I can get my weight maintained. I am good with other dogs and kids. However, cats are a whole other story. Those things just look like mini raccoons to me! Otherwise, I am a really good boy in the house. I have not had any accidents and am doing fine in the crate. I am pretty low key in the house, and I love to go for walks. Plus, I am good on a leash! You should know that I have a club-like foot. You can see it in the pictures, but basically, that foot does nothing for me. The vets think that it is old break that heeled incorrectly. Because it does not cause me any discomfort or any issues with mobility, the vets do not think anything needs to be done with it. I get around just fine and it doesn’t bother me one bit! As I mentioned before, I like other dogs. If I am being honest, I really need another dog in my new home. A confident dog who shows me how to act and when to be nervous and when not to be.
