Hank has made progress since May. He can be a little unsure at first meeting people, but once he warms up, you will fall in love with him. Hank is also unsure of new dogs but has met 3 dogs recently. He now shares his toys and treats with his doggy friends—a truly heartwarming sight!
At home, Hank likes to protect his space, so he may bark at new visitors, but with a bit of patience, he will eventually become friends. He’s learning to stay calm around people and dogs and will take some time but has had little successes with his outings out of boarding.
Hank most of the time, he walks nicely, though he might get excited and pull & react if he sees a bunny or other trigger.
He’s potty trained, doesn't guard his resources, and is perfectly behaved when left on a cable in the garage. Hank's history shows he’s adaptable and resilient, coming from a background that didn’t give him the socialization he needed early on, with proper guidance he has made great strides. His previous foster family did a fantastic job with him, and he even enjoyed trips to breweries and outings, proving he’s a social guy at heart.
