Meet Hank

Hank was picked up with another dog bloody and near a deceased newborn foal. It was unknown if they killed the baby horse or not but the mother horse was nearby and not fighting them so nobody is sure. In case, he should not be placed around cats or any livestock. He is dog friendly with an occasional attitude but is in foster with 19 other dogs of various sizes and is doing fine. He’s very smart and knew his new name in less than 5 attempts.

He had a “cyst” removed from the inside of his mouth during his neuter and the vet believes it’s from a dog fight and possibly an old puncture wound that got infected. It’s been drained and healed. He is very bowlegged on his front legs and should not be placed in a home with stairs. He also has a bad gimp right rear leg. Terribly bred poor guy. Very Friendly, loves attention, would be ok with older kids. Breed knowledgeable/experienced home required. We do not transport
