Health: No allergies or food sensitivity. No health issues that I am aware of.

Likes: looking out the window and scoping out the neighborhood. Being the center of attention. Treats. Sticking his head out the window on long car rides. Chasing squirrels. Swimming.cuddles. Burying his bones/treats. Walks.

Dislikes: cats. Being alone. Not being with his humans. Confined spaces.

Hank is the sweetest boy. Nothing makes him happier than meeting new humans and getting all of the pets. He is very excited and active pup but soon calms down and will lay by your feet. He loves being a busy body outside and would do bets with a fenced in yard so he can explore and run free. Hank is eager to meet new dogs but is a bit cautious when it comes to them sniffing him. I use caution when introducing him to new dogs. After the initial meeting he will then play a good game of chase. He has always lived with other dogs and gotten along with them very well. He does not show food aggression but he is good motivated. Nothing gets past his hound nose.

Most of the time Hank lays around the house looking out the window. We go on daily walks with his gentle leader. He is crate trained but he has been free roaming for most of his life. He isn’t distractive and he has never had an accident in the house. He will get in the trash if he is upset, so I would keep trash in a cabinet or out of his reach.

Hank is good at bath time and for daily brushing. He is has always let me clean his ears and trim his nails without any problem.

Hank has his own bed but he usually snuggles with me before bed. He likes to lounge on furniture. Sometimes he sits on the back of the couch like a cat to look out the window.

He is kid friendly. He will just lick them and try to eat their snacks. He might be a bit rough but he never aggressive. He’s been around kids. I’ve taken him to daycare. He just doesn’t have boundaries or personal space really. I would say that if someone has food and he is trying to sit/beg and a kid hangs on him and gets in the way of food he might get annoyed and bark.
