Meet Funny Man Hank! This boy is a character. He is a handsome big ball of muscle with warm eyes, friendly wiggles, and happy smiles. He is age two, approximately 80 lbs. He was found tied up in an alley during the blazing hot days of summer. Luckily for Hank, a Good Samaritan came to his rescue and now he is doing great! Hank likes the low-key sofa style life, but during playtime, he's all about doing Zoomies around the yard and playing with a ball. "Chase me!"
Hank is a good dog for someone who
• Loves the energy and optimistic spirit of Pit Bull Terriers
• Has knowledge of the breed and understands that he needs balance and structure first, before being showered with affection.
• Wants an enthusiastic, always ready for a new adventure partner
• Wants a buddy to go hiking or running with
- Wants to wake up to this beautiful face every day for keepers!
Hank loves the heck out of people, but can be picky about his dog friends. He is house-trained and kennels well, but a sofa would be his personal preference.
The home we seek for Hank is one where the adopter is a strong alpha human and has previous knowledge of this breed, or other power breeds. No infants or toddlers please, as Hank can be quite exuberant when he feels the urge. We will consider families with children who are old enough to understand how to be respectful of a dog. He has the start of some great manners! He walks great on a leash, takes treats gently, and is a big love. His adopters will have to be ready to provide supported guidance for him to grow up to be a great ambassador for his breed. Hank is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on his shots.
