Hello, my name is Maverick! I’m a loving 1 year old pit mix who is just waiting for my fur ever home. I’m an energetic puppy but I love to make my people happy. And let me tell you I love all people!! I also love other dogs :)

I’m also an excited jumper so even though I’d never hurt you on purpose smaller people could be knocked over. But with all that being said I’m a very good listener and I learn pretty quickly. I am a bit of a goof and toys will entertain me for hours. I’m kennel trained and house trained. I’m also a quiet boy so if my future humans live in an apartment I’d be a perfect fit as long as I could get outside and get some exercise.

Maverick is a sweet boy that is looking for a place to call home. He is a pit mix that is over a year old and has been with Purple Power Animal Welfare Society since December of 2018. Maverick is house-trained and does great in his kennel. Being very treat-motivated, he is easy to train and quick to learn. He would do best in a home with other playful dogs as he is very dog friendly. Maverick is an energetic dog so he would love to go on walks or hikes with his future family! When he isn’t playing with his canine friends, he likes to cuddle with his humans and get lots of belly rubs. If you’re looking for a cuddly, loyal best friend that will get along with your other furry friends, then Maverick is your guy!
