Hamilton Coonhound & Beagle Mix Naugatuck, CT

COURTESY POSTING, NIANTIC, CT: HAMILTON, a 7-year-old, 55-lb. coonhound mix, is looking for a new home because his size and exuberance make him a poor fit for the tiny humans (1 and 2 years old) in his home, who tend to fall down as he bounces past them. When not happily playing or enjoying car rides (which he loves) or walks (he's good on a leash!), Hamilton loves to snuggle wherever his humans are, as close to them as possible, and he looks great in a Halloween costume. Hamilton is housebroken, healthy, trustworthy when home alone, up-to-date on vaccines and neutered, and he is deeply loved and is being rehomed with real regret. It is unknown whether he is good with other dogs or with cats. Matching Hamilton to his next home will be up to his current family, but we will accept your adoption application and forward it to them for their review. There is neither an application fee nor an adoption fee, but please be aware that home ownership is required, and very strong preference will be given to homes with previous dog experience and a current vet reference.
