3/22/2023 Foster Feedback: I can't believe Hammy hasn't been adopted! He's a loverboy and deserves the best life! He has become so much more well behaved since having time to live like a normal dog in a home. He still has some puppy behaviors such as jumping and mouthing, but he has gotten much better. He wouldn't have a problem living with older kids as long as he is redirected and managed appropriately. He loves everyone and just wants to show it! He is also quiet in his kennel for the most part. If he has been in it overnight and needs to go outside, he will start whining. Otherwise, he barks when I first get home for the day because he is excited to see me. He will also be vocal when he is bored and wanting your attention. As long as he gets exercise and cuddles (in that order), he a pretty quiet boy. As I'm typing this up, he is laying with his head under my armpit and would like to tell you to fill out an application. He would love to meet you!
1/24/2023 Foster Feedback: Hamburglar has been a great house guest. He has lots of zest for life and loves to be active. He would do well being the only dog in an active home or would do especially well with another dog friend to play with. He shares toys very well and loves to run. In regular pittie fashion, he gets the zoomies and sometimes forgets to put the brakes on before running into things. We are also working on jumping up. He has been much better about this, but when excited, he sometimes forgets his manners. Because of this, he may do best in a home with older children. He is a very sweet boy who doesn't have a mean bone in his body and would love to settle down in a great home!
11/20/2022 Foster Feedback: Hamburglar had a tough start to life, abandoned and homeless at only 6 months old and with his ears badly chopped off. But life for this sweet boy is now so different in every good way!! His foster mom adores him and says he is SOOOO good! He loves playing with her dog, doesn't bug the cat too much, quickly learned how to use a doggy door, does well in a kennel, rides nice and is learning how to be a well-behaved puppy in the house. He listens and redirects well, is playfull and knows when to relax and chill out. He is working on not counter-surfing and jumping when excited.
Hamburglar so deserves his very own person or family to love forever!
10/23/2022 Foster Feedback: Hamburglar is a dream! He's very playful and great with my dog, but he knows when it's time to lay on the couch and chill. He does well with my cat but sometimes forgets that he can't play with her and she has to put him in his place. He takes the hint and moves his attention elsewhere. He goes in his kennel without a fuss and is quiet all night. He does need to work on keeping his paws on the kitchen floor - he enjoys counter-surfing for goodies. But he's a very good listener and redirects easily. He's a lover who deserves the perfect forever home!To view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: www.4luvofdog.org
