Because Ham was transferred from another shelter, we do not have any information on his previous interactions with kids, cats or dogs.

Ham is such a sweet and endearing guy! He loves his food, he loves to go for walks, he loves his friends - he is a happy guy. Unfortunately Hamm has very patchy hair. We have been treating him medically here at the shelter and giving him frequent baths (did you see the photos of me in the tub?) His hair issues persist, but his skin issues seem to be resolving. To be frank, poor Hamm looks a mess, and we are afraid that he may never find a home! He is such a good natured guy and so happy - we wish somebody might take a chance on him. Hamm is an artist - he comes with an original canvas oil painting, he enjoys baths, he loves walks, he loves treats and people. Hamm is good with most dogs although boisterous dominant male dogs can rub him the wrong way. We hope his person is out there and that this beast will morph into somebody's prince.

At this time, our dog kennels are open for general visitation without a prior appointment. We will, however, be limiting the number of persons in the kennel area at one time, and we appreciate your patience.
