Meet Hadlee PUPDATE!

Pupdate: Hadlee is currently in a foster home and is doing great. She didn’t get much exercise earlier in her life, but is loving it now as a 12-year old dog. Hadlee smiles and wags her tail on her twice a day walks and relishes longer hikes (1+ hours) to stretch her legs. With her daily exercise and healthy diet, she is getting fit! Hadlee is a bit shy and takes a while to warm up, but once she does, her sweet personality shines through. She is in a home with another Nova Scotia Duck Toller mix and she enjoys the company. Hadlee is gentle with cats and kids and loves belly rubs. She is being fostered as the shelter is full and Hadlee appreciates a quieter environment. The foster volunteers at the shelter and is willing to bring her for a meet and greet. Hadlee will be an excellent addition to any home as she is well-trained, loving and adaptable.

Hadlee was a return after the owner was losing their home and could not take care of her anymore. She is a friendly ol girl but she is very scared and confused right now. She is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling mix and she currently weighs 59 pounds. She is overweight right now so she is on diet and Excersice to help get her to a healthy weight. She is 12 years old but still got a lot of life left in her. She is currently being fostered as we are over full and she was not doing very well in the noisy shelter. The foster also volunteers here at the shelter and she will be bringing her in with her so interested parties can meet her on those days. She is looking for her forever home to live out the rest of her days. She is housebroken, crate trained. Good with cats. She is nervous and frightened with new people and dogs but is not aggressive. Her favorite toys to play with are bones and beanie babies. She loves her head and ears pet. She is skittish around children at first but warms up. Does very well with other household animals. She has been allowed on the furniture but does not get on without an invite first.
