Gypsy's Story

Gypsy is a talented young lady who will bend over backwards for her person. She came from a KS shelter as a stray where no one came to reclaim her. Gypsy is approx 2 y/o and 40#. She adores people and does well with non-submissive dogs 15# and up. Gypsy is ready to go at the drop of a hat. We think she's a Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix. She is crate trained, potty trained and is good on the leash. When she first came to rescue, she would try to resource guard her human from other dogs but she has gained some confidence and no longer displays insecure behaviors. She does have some fixation with small dogs so we don't recommend small dogs or cats in her new home. She has not been kid tested but a respectful older child 12+ may be considered. Gypsy requires a secure fenced 5-6 ft privacy fence and should not be left outdoors when her person leaves. This is likely how she became a stray. Her ideal home would keep her busy, active, and have a canine companion to match her play level. If interested in meeting Gypsy, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at

https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms

We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Gypsy is spayed, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. Her adoption fee is $375 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.
