Meet Gypsy

Gypsy (16 months old) was surrendered to our rescue when her owner was no longer able to care for her. She is currently residing with multiple dogs, of all sizes. She has been exposed to horses and ducks as well. Gypsy gets along with all of her canine companions. She would do best in a home with another young playful dog or by herself. Gypsy will entertain herself with squeaky toys and nylabones but if there is another dog around, she wants to play with them. She is super friendly when meeting new people.
Reportedly, Gypsy has been a picky eater since she was a pup. She is still quite thin so she will need to be spayed once she is at a healthy weight. Gypsy will need a secure fenced yard as we were told by her previous owner that she can be an escape artist At her current foster home, she is leash walked for potty breaks. Gypsy is house and crate trained. She can be a little anxious (panting and whining) in the crate at times, but she does settle down after a few minutes, She has not been around young children or cats while in our care. Due to her size and level of exuberance, we will not place her in a home with young children.
If you own your home and can provide Gypsy with the home that she deserves, please submit an adoption application through our website karmak9.org
