Meet Gypsy

"Meet" Gypsy in her Pup Pals video here-->

Hi Friends! My name is Gypsy and I am a 4 year old 31 lb bundle of love. I have had a lot of transition recently, from having my liter of precious puppies, to moving from rural TN to the bright lights and big city of NY/NJ. I love to snuggle up once I feel comfortable but I need some time to get used to my new surroundings. I love other similar energy level/size pups and have really enjoyed following my foster sisters cues. It helps me feel more at ease and it's a must have for my new Furever home ;-) I am a very good girl and I know to use the potty outside and like to sleep around my people on the couch whenever I get the chance. I get a little scared by the harness and leash right now- but I am still decompressing from all my travels- so I would do best in a home with a fenced in back yard that I could get used to while I get accustomed to going for walks on a leash outside of my home. I have been taking my cues and gaining my confidence from my foster sister and I would really love to have a family with another fur friend. I like kids- but because I am skiddish- I would prefer they be on the older and calmer side or a dog experienced household. I would love a family who is looking for a sweet little lady to snuggle and be their companion- is that you? I can't wait to meet you and see;)

To adopt this pet, please visit

All of our dogs come spayed or neutered, fully up to date on vaccinations, including rabies (if age appropriate) and bordetella, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the dog you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where dogs can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting a dog in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Thanks so much for caring about a needy animal!
