Meet Gypsy
Hello everyone! My name is Gypsy!
My story starts our sadly like so many others. Although I did not end up at a “shelter,” I currently reside with the lovely staff at a local animal hospital. My owner brought me in to have me euthanized simply because I had pyometra. For those of you that don’t know, it is an infection in the uterus that can result from hormonal changes. I’m heartbroken that my owner would so easily discard me like that! The wonderful people at Passion For Pitties have agreed to help the hospital staff find me a home.
Below is a little bit more about me:
• I’m approximately 9 years old.
• Weigh in at a svelt 84 pounds. The staff has me on a diet to help me get back my girly figure!
• Am the SWEETEST girl you will ever meet and want nothing more than to receive love and affection from the hospital staff.
• BELLY rubs are high on the list of priorities!
• Going for walks is one of my favorite things to do and am great on a leash, ignoring most distractions.
• Will make you laugh by just lying on the ground like a “frog” with my back legs sticking out.
• Seem to be good with other dogs and mostly just ignore them.
• Know all the basic commands and am potty/crate-trained.
• LOVE treats and know how to catch them if you toss them to me.
Living in an animal hospital is no life for a sweet girl like me. Just want to find a family that will give me a new hope on life and allow me to thrive again. Will that be you?
Please help us get sweet Gypsy into a safe, loving forever home! If you're unable to help by adopting, sharing this post or donating is always appreciated. Don't forget, Passion for Pitties is a 501(c)(3), so all donations are tax-deductible!…every little bit helps!
