What is The Animal Rescue Alliance (T.A.R.A.)’s adoption process?
TARA is foster home based. However, some of our dogs live at a private boarding facility in the Waldo area. We also have several cats at the Ward Parkway Shopping Center PetSmart adoption center, and you are welcome to drop by and see our cats there. ADOPTION PROCESS Please submit an adoption application to get started! Click the ADOPTION APPLICATION BUTTON on this page for information about our Adoption Process, Adoption Fees and What’s Included, and to submit an Adoption Application. Or visit our web site at: https://tarasdream.org/adopt. Our application helps us get to know you and assists us in making a happily-ever-after match. We’ll review the application and contact you ASAP. Please allow 2-3 days for a response. Our adoptions include a 2 week trial period to help you know if your new pet is a good fit. Your adoption fee is refundable during that period. We also take all adopted pets back into our program for the life of the pet, with a scheduled appointment.
