Gus Alaskan Malamute Gettysburg, PA

Gus was born on April 29, 2023. He and his five sisters came to us from a farm that no longer wanted them. Gus has lived most of his life outside so he will need help with potty training, learning to walk on a leash, crate training, and everything new that life has to offer. Gus is currently in a foster home that is helping with these things as well.

Gus is an active pup and will need a family that has time to commit to him. He will need ongoing rewards-based training and love from a devoted family. He would do best in a home with a female dog companion who can show him the ropes.

Your application tells us about your lifestyle and helps us find a potential match for you and your family. We are happy to work with you. For example, if you don't have a fence, we can help find alternatives and/or a dog that will do well without a fence.

A home visit is required prior to adoption/fostering. You can visit the malamute(s) once you've completed the process. Alternatively, you may volunteer and learn how rewards-based training brings out the best in malamutes.

ADOPTION FEES
~Senior dogs (8+ years old): $100.00
~Adult dogs (2 years up to 8): $300.00  
~Puppies (6 months - 2 years): $350.00
~Puppies under 6 months: $375

All Malamutes are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up-to-date on vaccines. Puppy fees are higher due to more vet visits and vaccines. The adoption fee helps us cover these costs.
