Meet Gunner

Gunner, also known as Gun-gun, is about four years old and his middle name is perseverance. He was rescued in February and was found with severe damage to both of his back legs. After many surgeries, a lot of “bed rest” (because nothing can keep this guy down) and a few months of recovery later, Gunner is looking for his furever home.
He is a typical Velcro boy and is ALWAYS ready to play. Housebroken, good in a crate, and knows his basic commands… sometimes it just requires food motivation. He is good with other small dogs, but probably needs to be the only big dog. Gunner would love a playmate as energetic as he is, he tends to be too much for older dogs. He hasn’t been tested with kids, but would likely do great as long as he’s not knocking anyone over.
Loves couch cuddles and fetch almost as much as food and walks!
