Gunner is a 1 year old neutered male who came into the shelter on 12/20/20 as an owner surrender.

Gunner is full of youthful energy in all the best ways. We don’t know much about his past home except he was given to police as a surrender and they brought him to the shelter. We met him soon after arrival and he looked so small in his kennel. Gunner was overwhelmed by his new environment and so happy to get outside. There was no hesitation from Gunner, he makes instant friends with everyone he meets. He allows easy leashing and walks with excitement. Gunner knows basic commands and showed off his sit after he ran around for a few minutes. He takes treats gently and allows handling all over. Gunner loves to play with tennis balls and makes a pretty solid fetch partner. He’s still young and will need an active home that helps him continue to grow with training and love.
